Activities

Students Council
The Council consists of the Head Student, Deputy Head Student and representatives from each class. The council meets regularly to organize activities. Students who join the council are usually elected at the beginning of every school year. The council is given the opportunity to liaise with the school administration team.

UCMas Club
This club started just a few months ago. Pupils aged 4- 12 can join this club. It aims at developing the mental abilities of these pupils especially the mathematical intelligence. It helps pupils become organized, attentive and more intelligent. To get the desirable result, pupils have to join the club for three years during which they meet two hours weekly.

Robotics
To help talented students (young engineers), a course in robotics was held in the summer holiday for some students. This activity will be part of our summer activities. It enhances the spirit of team work and encourages students to conduct scientific researches.

Ballet Dancing:
Twelve Pupils from the second and third grade are attending this club. They are trained by a professional ballet dancer twice a week after school.
At the end of the school year we expect to have a good performance by this group on the Open Day.

The School Parliament :
Our school was chosen to represent Irbid Directorate of Education in the students’ conferences in Jordan. One student from each class is elected from grade 6 up to grade 12. The elections were formally held on 19Feb, 2009

Scouts and Guides
The Scouts and Guides in our school are known to be one of the most active and effective ones, not only in the North but all over the country. They participate in almost every celebration in our city, Houson. Camps are held every now and then in the area. Members of the scouts and guides attended international camps in different parts of the world. On the other hand, they host members of the Catholic Scouts and Guides From different countries.

Writing Braille
Seven talented students were taught to write Braille by their English teacher who had experience while teaching the blind at another school. They are keen to cooperate with this group of people in the society. The students visited a school for the blind and donated the students stories translated into Braille (both Arabic and English).
